Reader POV
I groggily opened my eyes, seeing a white ceiling above me. I leaned up, but grunted in pain and fell back down. I let my eyes adjust to the light for a moment to see that I was in what looked like an infirmary. There were rows of beds and curtains in the area, as well as what looked like an unoccupied front desk. I looked down and saw that I was fully dressed, my wounds healed and no bandages. I looked over and saw that my hat was sitting on the bedside table, as well as my gloves. I quickly but on my hat, then my gloves. As I flexed them to make sure the claws still came out I overheard someone walking in the room. I hid the claws and looked at the door, not standing up as I saw two people walk in. I recognized them both as Headmaster Ozpin of beacon and his right hand, Ms. Goodwitch.
He walked over to me and smiled, "Hello there." he said. I nodded, smiling slightly. "Hello sir, might I ask where I am?" I asked, even though I already knew the answer. "You're in the beacon academy infirmary. Team JNPR brought you here." he said. I nodded, "So that's who those people that saved me were, could I see them? To thank them I mean." I asked. Ms. Goodwitch walked forwards. "They're in class as of the moment, perhaps you could tell us who you are?" she asked. I looked at them both and activated my semblance, curious about something. "You don't need to know my name." I said. Ms. Goodwitch's eyes went hazy for a moment. "We don't need to know your name." she said. "Actually we do." Ozpin said. My eyes widened slightly, "I can't use my semblance on him? He must be a lot stronger than I thought." I thought as he looked at me more sternly. I released Ms. Goodwitch from my control. "My name is (y/n) Krueger." I said.         He nodded, typing something into his scroll. "Very well, Glynda, would you please leave the room for a moment." he said. She nodded, gazing at me untrusting as she walked out, the door closing behind her. "Telekinesis huh? So that's her semblance." I thought as I looked at Ozpin. "So, tell me, how were you able to hold your own against Jason Voorhees." he asked. I feigned ignorance, "Who?" I asked. "You and I both know who he is, let's just agree right now to stop lying to one another, it will make this much less complicated." he said. I nodded, "Agreed, and yes I know who he is." He looked at me doubtfully. "You still didn't answer the question, how did you hold your own against him?" he asked again. I smiled, "I'm training to be a huntsman one day, I used to go to the academy in Vacuo, I retained some of my skills from there and used them to fight." I said.
He nodded, "I see, so that was how you were able to nearly kill Leatherface and Sweet-tooth?" he asked as he flipped around his scroll, showing a video of my fight."Nearly killed? I'll rectify that soon enough." "Yes, I fought in self defense." I said, he wouldn't know the truth, there was no audio. "Interesting, and considering this, I'd like to offer you a place at beacon academy, with another team." he said. I nodded, "Sounds like an offer I can't refuse." He nodded, "Hold on a moment, I'll use a randomized spinner to select who's team you'll be on for the sake of fairness." he said as he tapped the button. I hoped I'd be on team JNPR, as they were the only team I knew. The spinner stopped a moment later. "Well, it appears as if you'll be on team RWBY." he said. I nodded, "Okay, uh, who're they might I ask?" He smiled slightly, "They're an all female team consisting of Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang in that order." I could tell he was slightly smiling about me being on an all female team. "Alright then, I just hope I can work well with them, and that they don't kill me." I said, muttering that last part.
He nodded, "Well then, classes for the day will be out right, about, "He said as a loud bell rung. "Now." he finished as he motioned for me to stand, doing so almost effortlessly. "You've made quite a remarkable recovery." he said. I nodded, "I'd thank the cat faunus for that, she healed me didn't she?" I said. He smiled, "Ah, yes. Well either way, follow Ms. Goodwitch and she'll take you to team RWBY's dorm. Oh, and you'll start with a scholarship here due to your abilities, and you "unique", shall we saw, semblance." I nodded, smiling but on the inside panicking. He couldn't know about my real semblance could he? Or was he just talking about my mind manipulation? We walked out, Ms. Goodwitch standing by the door, already walking some random direction. I followed, speed-walking to catch up. "I don't believe I caught your name." I said. I was lying, I knew her name, I knew everything about her. I'd visited her in her dreams a few times already, and I knew that she was terrified of spiders, which could come in handy. I knew the worst fears of many people, since I visited them in their dreams. I didn't have to directly intervene now, I could just as easily manipulate their dreamscape to better suit me, and cause them fear.
"I'm Glynda Goodwitch, a teacher at this academy." she said, confirming what I already knew. I only knew Ozpin because he was recognizable, her, not as much. We walked for a moment until we came upon a doorway, with a large amount of banging inside. She swiped her scroll, it automatically opening as we saw a black haired girl with a bow on top of a bunk-bed, and three girls dressed in white, red, and yellow all trying to catch a black and white corgi. "WHAT'S GOING ON IN HERE!!!" she yelled, causing everyone in the room to freeze, even the dog. "There are no pets aloud in beacon! You are in so much trouble!" she said. I decided to get on my new roommates good side as I tilted Ms. Goodwitch's head so she was looking me in the eyes, which were now tinted purple.(you're six foot tall by the way.)" Calm yourself, there is no dog, everything is fine, there is no dog, everything is fine." I said, her eyes tinted lilac as she stumbled slightly, "There is no dog, everything is fine." she muttered as she started walking out of the room. "I suggest you hide that dog, I can't keep that up forever." I said. The one in red nodded, grabbing him and stuffing him under the bed, "Stay!" she said. I released my hold on Ms. Goodwitch when everyone was standing up and the dog was hidden.
"Hmm, what was I doing?" she asked aloud. I tapped her on the shoulder, as she was facing the wall. "Ehem, you were about to explain the situation to team RWBY?" I said. She nodded, holding the side of her head for a moment. "Ah, yes, I must've zoned out for a moment, anyway." she said going back to her normal posture and stance. "This is your new roommate (y/n) Krueger." she said. "WHAT!!!" all of them but the blonde one yelled. "Professor Ozpin determined that this would be the best team for him to work with, as he has proven his skill with his semblance already." she said. The red and black haired one was about to say something when the white haired one I recognized as Weiss Schnee put a hand over her mouth. "It's perfectly fine Ms. Goodwitch we'd love to have him here!" she said quickly, giving the other girl a death glare. Ms. Goodwitch raised an eyebrow at this, but didn't seem to give it much thought. "Very well, he will be staying on a sleeping bag as their doesn't seem to be any room for another bed as is." she said. After that she left. I turned to the four girls, "I really don't know why Ozpin thought this would be a good idea but, oh well. I suppose introduction's are in order, as I only know one of your names." I said as I held my hand out to the one in red. She smiled and shook my hand. "A 0.1 mph increase in wind speed, 0.001 degree increase in temperature. Likely a speed semblance and childish tenancies, possibly hyperactive." I thought as I let go of her hand. "I'm Ruby Rose, the leader, this is Weiss Schnee." she said pointing to the only girl who I knew the name of. "A pleasure to meet such a refined individual." I said as I grabbed her hand, kissing it rather than shaking it as formally as I could.
"Hmm, 0.1 degree drop in temperature, air moving 0.01 mph slower. Very mature and down to earth, cold personality. Semblance must be the Schnee family glyphs." I thought as she pulled back her hand, the faintest dusting of pink on her cheeks. "Glad to meet someone with some manners." she said, looking at Ruby. "This is Blake Belladonna." Ruby said. I shook hands with the girl with the bow, taking note of her grip as well. "Hmm, air speed stagnant, hand moved back 0.001 inches from probable position, indicating possible clone semblance. Temperature stagnant, not very emotional. Likely faunus, she smells like a cat despite the dog in the room." I concluded my analyses of her when I let go of her hand. "She released my grip early, she doesn't trust me and is rather reserved. Interesting." I thought as I smiled, "A pleasure to meet you Blake." I said. She nodded, "Likewise." she said in a monotone voice that only furthered my suspicion of her not trusting me. "Finally, this is my big sister, Yang Xiao Long!" Ruby said as she sped back over to her own place. "Sup!" she said as she gripped my hand. "Hmm, increase in air speed 0.01 mph, temperature increase of 1 degree, strong grip, very boisterous and trusting, loud. Immediately after touching my hand her aura levels spiked up slightly, indicating her semblance was to take punishment and then give it back ten-fold." I thought as I smiled, "A pleasure to meet you." I said.
"Well anyway, perhaps we should set some ground rules first?" Weiss said. Before she could say anything though, the corgi jumped out from the bed and started sniffing my hand. I pulled back and looked down in false-surprise. "Oh! I forgot about Zwei!" Ruby said, leaning her head back. I smiled as I pet the small dog, him moving slightly away from me. I couldn't read him like I did the girls since he had little aura to work with. "As I was saying, let's lay down some ground rules. First off, you sleep on the floor, no excuses." Weiss said.         I nodded, "Sounds simple enough." I said. "Secondly, no using that mind trick thing on us unless you have a good reason." she said. I nodded, "Pretty self explanatory." I said. "And a good reason isn't getting us to undress, dress in something bad, do something embarrassing," she said, listing off things on her fingers. "Weiss what do you take me for!?" I asked, slightly annoyed. As if I'd use my semblance for something like that on one of them. I just met them! "Anyway, and always knock before you enter this room or the bathroom." she said. I nodded, "Again, self explanatory." I said.
She nodded, "Well good. Now, why don't we head to the training ground? I'm curious as to how you fight." she said. I saw Ruby smiling, "OHHHH!!! Can I fight you first! I really want to know what weapon you use!" she said. I smiled, "Why don't I just fight each of you in order?" I suggested. Yang groaned, "Aw man, that means I have to go last!" she said. I smirked, "Don't worry Yang, I'll still have plenty of strength left to fight you." I said. She smiled, "Good, don't waste it on my friends." she said. "HEY!!!!" the other three said in unison, well, other two. Blake just sat on the top bunk reading a book as Zwei tried to bite at her dangling legs, and failed at it.

After we got to the training room I waited on the four of them to get on their combat gear, as I'd met them in their school uniforms. When they finally came out and sat down I was standing still in the center of the arena, Ruby just walking towards me. "You ready to lose?" she asked confidently. I smiled, "Only if you are." I said. I decided not to actually win with ease for once and have a little fun. She rushed at me head on with her scythe as I held up my right hand, grabbing the blade from the side with two fingers and moving it upwards until it was straight up, Ruby struggling to move it even an inch. Then I flexed upwards, throwing it into the air as I pushed Ruby back using an open-palm strike to her abdomen. Then I grabbed her scythe and spun it with one hand, holding it behind my back. I shook my head, "You left me far to much time to predict your attack, you weren't fast enough." I said as I tossed the scythe back at her. "Try again." I said. She did, this time moving behind me and striking, only for me to turn and grab it with my index and middle finger again, the same thing repeating, except this time I knocked her back with a kick to the chest, winding her. "You've got heart, but you're as subtle as a train wreck, while you aren't a terrible fighter, you need more discipline in battle." I said as I turned to the other four, watching with wide eyes. "Weiss! You're up." I said. She nodded and jumped down. "Kick his butt for me." Ruby said as she limped towards her sister, still recovering from the kick. "I may have overdone it a little." I thought.
Weiss stood tall as I looked at her, her right foot forwards as she held her blade parallel with her chin. She rushed at me, but I blocked her attack effortlessly, picking up the blade and her with it, punching her in the abdomen as I let go, her flying off as she stood, rushing me again. I jumped over her leg sweep and caught her blade with my other hand, ripping it from her grasp as I knee'd her in the side. I flipped the blade and grabbed it by it's handle. "You're form is perfect Weiss." I said. She looked at me confused, "How's it perfect when I lost?" she asked. I smiled, "I never said it was a good thing, you're form is so textbook perfect that I can predict your moves with ease. Battle is a dynamic thing and you are stagnant. You took Ruby's problem in the opposite direction, she could learn a lot from you without a doubt, but you could also learn a lot from her." I said. Looked over at Blake, "You're up." I said as she jumped down, Weiss walking over and sitting next to Ruby, only for her weapon to be jammed into the wall next to her. "You might need that." I said as I focused on my next opponent.
She eyed me carefully before she charged, I shut my eyes as I moved my hand to block her swings wherever they came from. She was using her after-image, so I was tracking her based on the aura she was letting off. When she finally stopped for a moment I rushed her, swinging my claws twice at her and knocking her off balance, before I retracted my claws and grabbed her weapon with one hand, grabbing her ankles and dangling her upside down with the other. "Not bad, but you rely a little too much on your semblance. It would work on others, but I could track you based on your aura. I'd suggest you try not using it so frequently." I said. I set her down, her maneuvering to land on her feet as she grabbed her weapon and walked over to Yang, who excitedly jumped down. "Alright tough guy, let's see what you got. Don't touch the breasts, ass, or hair." she said as she got into a fight stance. I slid my body over to face her as I smiled, "Wouldn't dream of it, then again, what reason would I do so?" I said as she charged, me moving left and right to dodged the shells as she got up close and personal. I moved left and right to dodge the shots, when she stopped for a moment I elbowed her in the gut and flipped over her, taking a long strand of her hair with me. "Impressive someone so top heavy is so limber, also, you were talking about hair?" I asked as I showed her the strand.
Her eyes went bright red as her hair practically exploded, her rushing at me as I effortlessly dodged her attacks. Her rage made her twice as predictable. "I'M GONNA RIP YOU A FUCKIN NEW ONE FOR THAT!!!" she yelled as I ducked under another blow, striking at the place her shoulder connected with her arm, her left arm going limp. "What the!?" she asked. I did the same with the other, then I kicked her in the stomach, her flying off to the left and being knocked down as she looked at me. "Not bad, but your anger made you far easier to beat and predict. Work on your temper. Though, you're strongest out of your team, I'll give you that. Other than maybe Blake." I said as I moved over to her, helping her up as she glared at me. "You're lucky I can't move my arms." she said. I smiled, "I know, why do you think I paralyzed them?" I asked. Suddenly I heard a slow clapping coming from behind me. I turned and noticed professor Ozpin standing there. "Most impressive Mr. Krueger, I believe having you here was a good decision after all." he said. Weiss looked at him, "May I ask why he's on an all girl team professor?" he simply smiled. "Well, I placed his name into a spinner that would randomly determine what team he'd be on, and it landed on yours." he said. Blake smiled, "I think it's good that he's on our team, seeing as he beat all four of us and only lost two percent of his aura." Ruby frowned, "Man, I really wanted to see his weapon."
I smiled, "If you want to see my weapon Ruby, all you had to do was ask." I said as I walked over there. I flexed and showed her my claws. She gasped and ran over, speeding around. "Wowowowow! They're so cool looking!" she said. I smiled as I set them back. "That's not all either." I said as I took off my hat, reaching into the center and pulling to make it a circular saw. I spun it as I looked at her, her looking on top of my head, a shocked expression on her face. "Wait, you're a faunus?" Weiss asked. I nodded, "Yeah, so now you have two faunus teammates huh?" I asked, looking at Blake. She immediately flushed but nodded, I put my hat back on as I stretched out as well. "Either way, it's been a long day. What's say we head back?" I asked. All of them nodded, Yang still smiling, despite being unable to use her arms. "Heh, sure. After-all you really," she said. "Don't..." Weiss said. "Dis-armed me, huh?" she asked. All of them groaned, but I chuckled lightly. Her eyes lit up as she ran over to me. "Did you just, laugh? At one of my jokes?" she asked. I nodded, "Yeah, why you ask?" She smiled, "Finally someone with a decent sense of humor." I smirked, "Yeah well, don't expect to be re-armed for a while now, I hit your pressure points and it'll take maybe thirty minutes for you to go back to normal. Just be glad I didn't hit your legs." I said. She nodded, smiling. "Oh! Come to think of it, it's movie night over with team JNPR! Why don't you come with us?" Ruby said. I nodded, "Alright then, let's head over." I said as we all started walking back.

~time skip~

I was standing outside team JNPR's dorm room with team RWBY, me carrying two bags of popcorn and Ruby carrying a jar of cookies. We were all in our pajamas, as it was apparently Friday, and we would be up late and likely have to fall right into bed when we got back. Or in my case, a sleeping bag I'd been given. Still rather comfortable though. Weiss, the only one not carrying something, knocked on the door. Yang, who'd gotten control of her arms back, finally, was carrying pillows and blankets, just in case she said. Blake was carrying a book. I was dressed in simple gray sleep-pants and an (f/c) shirt, along with my hat. "Why do you have your hat on?" Blake asked. I shrugged, "I dunno, never really not worn it I guess." I said. "Aren't you worried you might break something, I mean it is a chainsaw." Ruby said. I shook my head, "Nah, it responds to my ears to move, just have to lightly pull on the cord to get it to spin." I said. Blake tilted her head, "Umm, how can you do that?" I smiled, "A lot of practice."
We would've continued but someone opened the door, it was a short woman, around Ruby's height. With long white hair and bright Amber eyes, along with two cat ears on her head, twitching slightly. "C-Come on in g-guys." she said. "I'm A-Angela by the way." she said as I nodded to her, feeling as if doing anything else might cause her to explode from shyness. When we all walked in I saw everyone from the night I was hurt. The first to greet me was a blond guy, about my height, with deep blue eyes and wearing gray sleep-pants with a blue string. "Hey man, good to see you're alright! I'm Jaune, JNPR's leader." he said, me shaking his hand. I could tell he was friendly, but I couldn't tell his semblance, no tell-tale signs of it. Maybe he hadn't discovered it yet? Or maybe it was a passive one? Maybe it was just one I'd never seen before. Another woman looked up from a bean bag chair. She smiled at me, her eyes energetic blue and her hair bright orange. She had on a short with the word BOOP on it in bright pink letters, and it reached maybe just below her belly button. "Hi! I'm Nora!" she said. Another male greeted me, bowing as he looked at me. He was dressed in what seemed to be a long green shirt with a stripe of pink down the middle, as well as white pants. "I'm Ren, it's an honor to meet you." he said. I bowed in return, looking at his Magenta eyes, hidden partly by his black hair.
When another person stepped out of the bathroom, my jaw damn near hit the floor. Standing in front of me was one of the prettiest girls I'd ever seen. She had long, flowing crimson hair that put even Ruby's cloak to shame, bright green eyes that radiated a humble confidence and even kindness, they looked almost just like Kendra's. She was a little shorter than me, her hair pulled back into a ponytail and her wearing crimson and gold silk pajamas. I gulped quietly as she walked over. "Hello again! I'm Pyrrha, I'm sorry about not introducing myself properly the first time." she said. I smiled, "I-It's fine Pyrrha, being introduced when you have a machete in your stomach isn't exactly the best way to meet." I said. She giggled lightly at this as I managed to contain my blush. Thankfully, after much training I'd been able to mask feelings easily. I felt a bubbling feeling in my stomach when I heard her laugh, one I hadn't felt in a long time.

I was nervous.

"Anyways," Jaune said, saving me from the awkwardness. "our movie tonight is called "A Nightmare on Oak Street" followed by "Friday the 14th" (obvious parodies are obvious)" I nodded, two horror movies, one's I'd never watched mind you. "Alright then, any objections?" I asked. Angela and Ruby looked slightly scared. "Umm, can we watch something else?" Ruby asked, while Angela said nothing. "Relax Ruby, what kind of hunters are we if we can't handle a few made up scares?" Yang asked, holding Ruby in a headlock and noggieing her. "Y-Yang! Stop!" she said. I held Yang's gaze and used my semblance, getting her to let go before I stopped using it. Ruby smiled gratefully as I winked at her, her getting the message. "I won't say anything if you don't."
Jaune plugged in the movie as we all sat down, me setting the popcorn down in front of team RWBY, as I'd already eaten. The teams were seated on either side of the projector, team RWBY on the right, team JNPR on the left, with two bags in the middle. Occupied by myself, and Pyrrha. "Great, hope I can take my mind of her and keep it on the movie." I thought as Jaune started the movie. Jaune and Angela were sitting next to one another, Ren and Nora doing the same. The girls were in the middle with Jaune and Ren on the outsides. Yang was in the center, right next to Ruby to her right and Blake to her left, Weiss next to me, but us separated by about a foot of air. Pyrrha on the other hand was so close I could feel the heat off her aura.
When the first movie started I felt something, familiar. It was set on Oak street in Vale and revolved around a man who dressed in a black and white sweater murdering people as they slept with claws on his left hand. "Should I be offended by this? The nightmares I make are ten times scarier than this shit." I thought as I looked around. Angela was leaning close to Jaune, him leaning close to her as they both watched on fearfully. "Scaredy cats." I thought as I looked over more. I saw Nora on the edge of her seat, Ren staring completely emotionless at the screen, only ever making slight face movements once in a while. On the other side all three of the other girls were hugging Yang, her mouthing to me, "Help." I shook my head and shrugged as I looked back to the movie. I looked at Pyrrha and saw her looking fearfully at the screen, the killer named Frank Kruger, ironically, was jumping at the main character as we watched in first person when all the lights suddenly went out. I stood up, and so did a lot of other people apparently, as I felt someone jump at me, me catching them as I looked around. "Hey! Who turned out the lights?" I asked. "What happened?!" I heard a panicked Jaune asked. "Hold me!" I heard Ruby yell. Suddenly I heard Yang growl in anger as she flexed her arms downwards, the flames off of her aura lighting up the room slightly as she stood there.
I looked around and saw Nora looking ready to punch someone, Ren with his weapons, oddly, Angela in Jaune's arms as he looked on. I saw Weiss in Ruby's arms and Blake in Yang's. I looked down and blushed when I noticed it was Pyrrha in mine, her eyes slowly opening. She looked up at me, and I was glad I could see in the dark, since her face was as flushed as mine... hopefully she couldn't see mine. I saw Blake hold up an unpopped kernel of popcorn to Yang's hair, it popping as she ate it. "Wow, can't believe I never thought of that." she said. I let Pyrrha down, as did everyone but Ruby and Yang, who kept holding onto their respective partners. "What just happened?" I asked. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door as Weiss and Blake scrambled off onto the ground. Ren walked over, his weapon drawn as he slowly opened the door, me ready to throw my hat, just in case. I relaxed slightly when I saw it was Ms. Goodwitch.         "Is everyone alright?" she asked. I nodded, "A little shaken, but we should be fine." I said. She nodded, "Well, the powers out at the moment, we can't get any of the electronically opened locks to open either, unless it's from the inside." she said as she left. I looked at Yang, the one conveniently bringing pillows and blankets. "Yang, did you know about this?" I asked. She looked at me ludicrously, her light dying down slightly, "What? You think I can predict a blackout?" she asked. I shook my head, "No, but you did bring pillows and blankets." I said. She smiled, "That was just in case one of us fell asleep here." she said.
I sighed, "Fair enough. Either way it looks like we're stuck here." I said. "Yay! Slumber party!" Nora and Ruby screamed in unison. I looked around, "Does anyone have any candles?" I asked. Angela timidly held up a hand, it containing a single candle. "I-I have one." she said. I sighed as I took off my hat, pulling out three candles I'd brought just in case something like this happened. "Only one candle at a time, so we can see and not run out that easily." I said as I put my hat back on, no-one sparing a glance at me as I set my candles down on the TV. Of course I could see anyways, so it didn't matter that much, I just needed a little light and I could see perfectly. "Alright, so, who sleeps where?" Jaune asked as Angela lit the candle. "I'm sleeping with Yang!" Ruby yelled as she grabbed onto her sister. "Uhh, why?" I asked. Yang sighed, "I had a feeling this might happen, whenever we were little and watched a scary movie or were in a scary situation she'd sleep with me instead, or dad if he was home." she said. I nodded, it made sense. I saw Blake walk over, a light blush on her face. "Mind if I sleep with you girls too?" she asked. Yang shrugged, but was smiling slightly. "Sure, why not?" Weiss walked over to Ruby. "Why don't you sleep with me so Yang only has to deal with one scaredy cat." she said, subtly poking fun at Blake's heritage. "Why don't we all just sleep together?" Ruby suggested. Weiss, Yang and Blake all shrugged, "I don't see why not." they said in unison, the only not terrified one being Yang.
"Where are you sleeping (y/n)?" Jaune asked. I shrugged, "Probably the floor or something like that." I said. "You know, if team RWBY are all sleeping together, they could just share one of the beds." Ren said. "You and Angela could share one, as you've done plenty of times. Me and Nora can sleep in one, and that leaves..." he said, Nora completely fine with it, as they acted almost like siblings she wouldn't find it that weird. Me and Pyrrha both blushed when Ren looked at us. Sure I shared a bed with Penny back in the day but, this was nothing like that! She was like a little sister, and still would be, if I didn't keep her locked in the Veil with the others. "Wonder how they're doing anyway? They can't die so, I wonder." I thought as Pyrrha looked at me. "Y-You can sleep on the bed, I'll stick to the floor." she said. I shook my head, "N-No, you sleep on the bed, I'll stick with the floor." I said. Her blush deepened, "W-Well, we could both sleep on the bed. Just, me under the covers and, you over them?" she said, it sounding more like a question. I sighed, knowing I'd never get anywhere like this. "You know what fine, I'm getting too tired to argue." I said, the effects of exhaustion hitting me like a truck.
We all settled down, Pyrrha slipping under the covers as I lay on top of them grabbing one of Yang's blankets and laying it over me. After a while I looked over at Pyrrha, her eyes locking onto mine as I nearly jumped back. She blushed and looked away, "Sorry." she said. I tilted my head, my hat on the night stand, me just barely able to see through the darkness. "For what? Having your eyes opened?" I asked, my voice just above a whisper. She shrugged, "I don't really know." she said. I sighed as I took her hand, our fingers intertwining for a moment. "Pyrrha, you know you don't have to apologize for everything, right?" I asked. She blushed as she pulled away, seemingly thinking. Finally she did something I didn't expect, she nodded and maneuvered herself so that she wasn't under the covers. "Umm, what're you d-doing?" I asked. She smiled, "If you won't go under the covers, then I won't either." she said. I opened my mouth to protest but she stopped me, "If you're catching a cold from the chill around here, so am I." she said. I sighed, "Fine, fine, we'll both go under the covers, happy?" I asked as I pulled them back and laid down. She smiled as she did the same, her eyes shutting as she said "Yes." I sighed as I turned around, looking away as I tried to think of anything but Pyrrha...

I could tell it would be a looooong night.
